C-19 Stories: The Darnley Pharmacy

The Darnley Pharmacy now dispenses prescriptions from a window. This saves patients needing to enter the shop, reducing the risk to them and the staff.

Becky said the coronavirus means her work is now far more stressful than it was. Restrictions brought about by new ways of working means GPs are running behind; therefore, it takes longer to fulfil the prescriptions their patients need. The pharmacy now closes for two hours in the middle of the day to allow everyone to catch up.
